Former GITTE HENNING1 in dry dock at MEST Shipyard in the Faroe Islands

Former Gitte Henning1, now Gøtunes, is this week in MEST’s dock at Skála for general maintenance. This is the first time the vessel is in MEST’s dry dock.
With its 90 metres in length it is the largest pelagic vessel in the Faroese fleet. The Faroese company Varðin acquired Gitte Henning1 in June 2020 and named the vessel “Gøtunes”.

The vessel was built in Norway in 2018.
